Despite the miserable weather, I took advantage of the Heritage Open weekend and had a look round some of Coventry's more interesting spots - after so many years living away from the area, these kind of events, with camera in tow, are a great way to reconnect with the city that I was educated in and have always lived close to.
First off, a literal behind-the-scenes look at Coventry's famous Godiva clock.
Then, I headed into the Council House to have a look at the Council chamber and the stunning St Mary's Guildhall.
The there was a quick trip under Civic Centre 2
After that, a wander round the ruins of Coventry Cathedral - a wonderful space that is all too easy to take for granted as a resident of the city.
And finally, somewhere I'd barely even registered was there before - a look inside the amazing St John the Baptist Church.
